  22. turn your modem speaker on and monitor the unpleasant scrambling noise
  23. while on line. When you hear the click or beep, take the parallel phone
  24. off-hook and proceed with a FLASH. the CO will switch you to the calling
  25. party while your connection to IP will get killed in the meantime.
